About

I am Grace Smith, a former teacher and school administrator, designer, national sales manager, remodeling business-owner, retailer, events planner. I have three wonderful grandchildren who bring me endless joy and children of whom I am extremely proud. My husband and I live on what was once a chicken and dairy farm, and we have four much-loved dogs.

My time is spent making, recycling, repurposing, and building things. I love the new way of putting it – I am a “maker.”

I am also a freelance writer and have included a portfolio of my work and an explanation of the types of writing in which I specialize.

  1. Hi Grace,
Do you have a follow on email button? I don’t know if it’s me being a bit blind – haha. I miss quite a lot of blog posts because I don’t have a reading schedule so it works for me to have the email and click on the link to get to the post.
    Thanks,
    Anne

      1. Hi. I don’t see the one that says on email. I don’t get an email when you have new posts. Let me see if I can do from my side and just modify for you. I used to get emails every time new posts are in but with so many I follow the emails were too much so I stopped all emails. On the widgets, there are 2 follow me that you can include – the Follow Me only and the Follow me on Email. πŸ™‚

      1. Oh yes! You did, indeed. Lol! πŸ™‚ And I have clicked on it. Now, I won’t miss your posts although it sometimes takes me a couple or so days to get through all my emails. πŸ™‚
        Thanks so much, Grace.
        Much love and hugs xxx
